TAIYI受SOHO中国委托设计SOHO外滩内部的四个空间：公共空间，地下室，展示办公区和会所。项目的设计重点在于过去和未来之间的平衡——上海政府非常关注对外滩建筑群立面的保护，没错——正是这些来自上世纪三十年代的老建筑定格了外滩的历史与风情，它们与浦东耀眼的现代建筑群隔岸相望，构成了浦江两岸独特的城市风景。
Taiyi was commissioned by SOHO China to design the four spaces inside SOHO Bund: public space, basement, exhibition office area and clubhouse. The design of the project focuses on the balance between the past and the future-the Shanghai government is very concerned about the protection of the facade of the Bund complex, yes-it is these old buildings from the 1930s that set the history and customs of the Bund They are across the bank from the dazzling modern buildings in Pudong, forming a unique urban landscape on both sides of the Pujiang River.

TAIYI hopes to use this project to emphasize the classic appearance of the Bund through time, while creating a contemporary public space inside to appropriately express SOHO China's development vision and brand image.
内外空间都采用了纹理简单的米色石材，呼应了外滩历史建筑群的表皮材料，同时，简单而醒目的白色表皮也更加贴合未来感的空间构思。一些独具匠心的细节，比如电梯厅旁边45度的拐角、奶油色的石材与开放明亮的空间相互烘托，似乎让人回到了爵士乐中的摩登上海。
The interior and exterior spaces are made of beige stone with simple texture, which echoes the skin materials of the historical buildings on the Bund. At the same time, the simple and eye-catching white skin is more suitable for the space concept of the future. Some ingenious details, such as the 45-degree corner next to the elevator hall, the cream-colored stone, and the open and bright space complement each other, seeming to make people return to the modern Shanghai of jazz.
夹层楼面是SOHO中国的上海总部办公室。壮观的室外视野成为室内空间的重要元素——白天，这里作为销售和业务洽谈的空间，室外的视野活化了空间体验，为商业活动注入轻松舒适的气氛。
On the mezzanine floor is SOHO China’s Shanghai headquarters office. The spectacular outdoor vision has become an important element of the indoor space-during the day, it is used as a space for sales and business negotiations. The outdoor vision activates the space experience and injects a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere into commercial activities.

The floor-to-ceiling windows and the stair turntable provide an excellent viewing angle. People's vision is switched between the panoramic view of the city and the Bund, creating a pleasant visual experience.

Lighting can connect spaces or cut spaces. In this work area that occupies most of people's time, we hope to create a more comfortable and refined space experience. We covered a layer of translucent film under the light source of the ceiling, allowing the light to spread evenly through the entire ceiling. Through such innovation and ingenuity, the indoor and outdoor light is naturally and closely integrated.
